DRPT Statewide Planning

DRPT recognizes the importance of developing and leading multimodal transportation planning efforts at the statewide level.

DRPT also leads and/or participates in the development of plans to identify possible transportation improvements throughout the Commonwealth. Whether DRPT is leading the study, serving as a member of a multimodal study team or providing technical assistance, DRPT representatives provide guidance throughout the study process while working to achieve the end goal of creating an improved transportation system for Virginia.
