Commuter Assistance Program Strategic Plans

DRPT requires agencies operating a commuter assistance program (CAP) and are or will seek funding from DRPT for their CAP, develop a Commuter Assistance Program Strategic Plan (CAPSP). The primary purpose of a CAPSP is to create a detailed blueprint of the strategic and targeted services and resources needed to operate a CAP in a way that maximizes increases in carpooling, vanpooling and transit ridership results in the most cost-effective manner.

Who is this for?

All agencies that receive state or federal grant funding through DRPT for operating a CAP.

Requirements

The CAPSP must be adopted or approved by the CAP operating agency’s governing board and submitted to DRPT.
